Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire Ltd is a family business that operates bus services and coaches from Lancaster, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding areas. August 2011 will see us reach 20 years in business.
We can provide quotes and ideas for trips around the UK. We have 24, 29, 35, 51, 53, 57 and 65 seat coaches. We also have 70 seat school coaches available.
Work we undertake currently include school trips and residential weeks, football matches, School sports, shopping trips to Manchester/Liverpool etc, trips to the Lake District.

"We had a very good holiday and Richard our driver was as helpful and courteous as ever. He kept the coach clean and his driving is excellent. The admin was not so good this year but the coach and driver far outweigh those little problems."

"The experience we had with Kirkby Lonsdale Coaches was excellent. They responded quickly to emails, easy to deal with on the phone and competitively priced. The coach was on time and got us to the venue as planned. The company were very good about including various drop-offs and the driver, who was very pleasant and extremely accommodating, loaded our golf clubs and trolleys for us and sorted out in-coach entertainment. The coach itself was very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this company to anyone planning a trip!"

"Journey was smooth and uninterrupted. Our driver was polite and courteous and helpful. The coach was here exactly on time waiting on us both ways. The coach was clean and comfortable. I could not recommend enough and as a group who travels constantly we can genuinely advise that this company is excellent."

"I've been using this coach company for many yeas and I'm very pleased with the reliable service which they supply. On our first journey this year the driver had trouble with the gears on the coach and the Air Conditioning didn't work properly which meant the coach was very warm. The driver was friendly and tried his best to make us as comfortable as possible in the heat."

"The journey to St Anne's was fine. Richard suggested lunch stop at Barton Grange Garden centre. Good choice. Trips during the week we're good and return journey home too. We always ask for Richard as he is helpful and courteous and a good driver The coach was clean and comfortable."

"On a recent school trip for 4 - 7 year olds we were held up for three hours due to a RTA and these are a few comments from staff about your driver, Derek. He was a 'superstar'; 'cool and calm'; 'really jolly'; 'joined in the singing', which for three hours could have been a trial for anyone! The staff really appreciated his helpful, friendly support at what could otherwise have been an ordeal, considering the young ages of the children and the length of time they were on the coach at the end of an already long day for them. Thank you."
