Kirkby Lonsdale Coach Hire Ltd is a family business that operates bus services and coaches from Lancaster, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale and the surrounding areas. August 2011 will see us reach 20 years in business.
We can provide quotes and ideas for trips around the UK. We have 24, 29, 35, 51, 53, 57 and 65 seat coaches. We also have 70 seat school coaches available.
Work we undertake currently include school trips and residential weeks, football matches, School sports, shopping trips to Manchester/Liverpool etc, trips to the Lake District.

"I live on the no'89 bus route in pilling, it is every 90 mins which if you do not have a car that is a nightmare, at least every 60 mins would be more easier for people, if you have just missed one then waiting 60 mins would be a lot easier. There is no service at at all on a Sunday so you feel isolated and cut off completely, there isn't even a service on a bank holiday. They do not take into consideration people with no cars. That is poor judgement."

"The journey overall was good. Even when there were slight delays and unexpected events, the driver was nice and patient with us when we were waiting for everyone to board the vehicle. The coach was clean and well kept however it was quite small for a 41 seater, there wasn’t much legroom and seat sizes weren’t a comfortable size, so the coach felt quite cramped to us."

"Our journey to Manchester went well ,the coach arrived in plenty of time, our driver was very helpful ,helping one of our ladies with her mobilaty scooter when we arrived in Manchester and when we got back to Caton ,the vehicle was clean apart from the toilet which was full of urine when we set off,,we contacted your office and you had it sorted for us for our journey home thank you"

"The journey went well . The driver was very friendly and helpful . The bus was clean . The only downside I would say was that the air con was not working properly and it got extremely hot in the bus which wasn’t ideal."
