"How did the journey go? It didn't. The coach never showed up. The driver - appearance and helpfulness? Appearance was non existent as again, they didn't show up. Also not in the least bit helpful as they didn't even have the decency to phone to say they weren't coming. The vehicle - was it clean and comfortable? I'm sure it was, but I'll never know, as it didn't show up. I booked a coach to take some guests home after my wedding. After having my guests waiting around for over an hour until 2.30am, we had to arrange taxis as there was no bus. I felt embarrassed and worried that I had messed up the booking, and realised I hadn't even been given a name or number to contact the driver. When I reported it the next morning I received some excuses that didn't really tally up with reality ('the bus broke down but did eventually arrive at the venue' - if it broke down, why didn't the driver phone me or the venue? And why did none of the staff at the venue inform us that a bus had shown up in the early hours?). Every single other thing went perfectly at our wedding, so this was a really disappointing way to end what had been a perfect day. I'm sure there is some genuine reason why the bus didn't show up (human error etc.), but I've never even received an apology from the company, so cannot possibly recommend them to anyone. We did receive a full refund, and they offered to reimburse taxi costs over and above the cost of the coach hire if we provided receipts. Unfortunately we didn't have receipts nor could I be bothered with the effort involved in contacting all my guests who had to get taxis."
