Barnes Coaches are one of the leading coach companies in the area, hopefully you may well have heard of us and seen our distinctive green coaches out on the road. We have a range of coaches from 8 seat mini-buses to 96 seat double deck coaches.

"The booking process was easy and straight forward. Even last minute changes were dealt with swiftly. Drivers were on time and friendly. And the buses were very clean on both days (had different buses/drivers) for the outward and return journeys. One small comment for improvement would be to have the emails during the booking stage signed with a name, rather than the company's details. It makes it more personal and you have a feeling that you are actually communicating with a person. Occasionally it was signed off with a name, but most of the time it wasn't."

"Journeys went very well -- no concerns about drivers. Kept us informed about safety issues. One driver needed a shower. Vehicles were clean and comfortable. The ONLY suggestions I have are (1) because you're a big company, I sometimes felt that the person who answered my email hadn't read previous emails -- usually on the same email trail -- and asked me to repeat information; (2) I sometimes had to ask for the phone number for "our driver the next day." Once a trip begins, it's crucial for me to be able to contact the "driver for the next day" to go over pick up and set down issues in more detail -- things that often can't be arranged in advance (or may change overnight due to local conditions). That said, I was VERY HAPPY with our experience with Barnes!!!!! I appreciate you and your drivers very much!"

"We booked a coach to ferry guests from a number of hotel pickup points to our wedding and back. The guests arrived on time and we had no issues. No guest complained about anything to do with the coach, so presumably everything was fine."
