Barnes Coaches are one of the leading coach companies in the area, hopefully you may well have heard of us and seen our distinctive green coaches out on the road. For those of you who already use our services, thank you for your continued custom, for those of you who haven’t used us before, why not give us a go and see what you are missing out on.
We have a range of coaches from 8 seat mini-buses to 96 seat double deck coaches.

"We had a great week when we did the Celtic Connection Tour. The tour was great all the hotels were of a good standard as was the food, the only one that was a little remote from shops etc was the one in Northern Ireland. Our driver Steve was brilliant a real asset to your company. At all times he was helpful, polite, informative and had a great sense of humour, he ensured that we were kept up to date on travelling times , meal times etc and took good care of our luggage. The bus was comfortable and was always clean."

"Excellent holiday in york. Fuss free travel there and back. We had a taxi pick up both ways courtesy of Barnes. Our driver Phil was really friendly and informative. He was very smart, helpful and punctual . Phil always made sure we were told times and pick up points of the additional trips. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. The choice of hotel was excellent for service and location and the variety of trips included were well chosen. Overall the whole experience was wonderful and will definitely be something we repeat in the future. Phil is an asset to your company and goes above and beyond his job title. Keep up the good work ."

"This was our second holiday with Barnes and again we were not disappointed. From start to finish we could not fault the holiday at all. We did the trip to the Ring of Kerry and Dingle. The three hotels we used were well chosen with comfortable rooms and fine food. The driver was very informative and friendly and impressed us all with her skilful driving around some tricky narrow roads with very steep drops and hairpin bends. Even the Dolphin put in an appearance on our dolphin cruise. The pickup and drop off at the start and end of the holiday was also superb. Any negative points? The only one I could think of was the return crossing on the ferry ( it was rough ). However Barnes can not be held responsible for the weather and it made the return trip interesting. Would we use Barnes again ,well yes we have and will continue to do so."

"West Berks Ramblers group based in the Newbury area employ Barnes coaches once a month from April to September to take us to our walk location where we are dropped off at three different locations depending on the length of the walk and meet the coach at the end.. Today Sun 14 Aug we were bound for Tetbury. However, the coach decided Cirencester was as far as it was going to go. Loud buzzing noises, so the driver Mike, pulled over to establish the engine was losing water rapidly. My reason for this story is, within 40 minutes of the breakdown we were seated on a replacement coach and heading for our destination! Full marks to Barnes coaches for handling the situation in such a efficiant and professional way."

"We used Barnes' 96 seater coach for our wedding reception. The coach picked our guests up from their hotels, took them to the church, then to the wedding reception and then back to their hotels at midnight. Most importantly for me, the driver was always on time. Whilst I wasn't on the coach myself, I am told by friends and family that he was friendly and polite at all times. I would happily recommend Barnes coaches to others."

"30th July - Cotswold Wedding. From the initial contact with the office to book and eventually upgrade coach to the very helpful driver, we cannot fault any of the assistance received from the Barnes staff. The coach arrived promptly and a very well prepared driver met us. Also to his patients when trying to get 60+ people out of the reception at midnight. Would definitely recommend and use Barnes again"

"Lovely day to Bournemouth on July 19th with Sainsbury's Veterans, coach was on time, comfortable, and clean.. Lovely driver picked us up at an easy to find place the sun shone all day and some of us even managed a swim. Although the traffic was heavy we got back at a good time."

"We hired Barnes Coaches to transport our wedding guests in the daytime and again in the evening and the service provided was second to none. The pristine coach arrived punctually and the driver was very patient when we had to try and locate a missing guest meaning our predicted departure time overran. The service was first class and I'd happily recommend them to anyone. Thank you."
