"Unfortunately this company let us down. They no longer work with CTC but declined to let us know. Their attitude when I chased to find out what was happening was rude and unhelpful. Thankfully CTC managed to sort this out with another company who ran our event fantastically."

"We booked ASA for an airport transfer to and from Heathrow for 10 people including luggage. They state they provide luxury travel, however this tuned out to be far from the truth. The bus had seen better days and most of the seat belts don't work. The driver arrived late for the pick up and had no means of storing the cases other than fitting them in and around us on the bus. We ended up trying stop them sliding around and falling off the seats one nearly hitting the driver on the head! We also got lost around Heathrow and with the delays arrived much later than planned missing out on an airport lounge we had booked, which cost us money. I messaged the owner about the issue with the luggage while on holiday and received a response saying I could hire a trailer for an extra cost if I wished. I did not request this but merely pointed out the issues on the in the first trip. Despite having the flight details they did not check the arrival time which had been brought forward by 1hr so we had to wait at the airport car park for an hour for the driver to arrive on our return. This time he had a trailer but informed me that he expected payment for this. I told the driver I had not agreed to pay extra as mentioned above. The driver then informed me that he had to make a stop for 30min as he was over his hours and that when he stopped would speak to his boss. We pulled in to a service station and he made the call only to inform us that he would not take us any further unless we paid the additional money for the trailer and that he should not have allowed us on the bus until we paid! He gave me the number of the owner to speak directly to him but he didn't answer the call. We had already been travelling for nearly 24hrs and reluctantly paid the money in order to get home. This is totally unprofessional and modern highway robbery. Hopefully this gives you an indication of the type of people running the business. I would go further than not recommending I would say avoid at all costs."

"Booking through ASA was a terrible experience and I highly advise that no one uses them! The manager is unprofessional and disrespectful to his customers. I made an official complaint but he has refused to acknowledge this so I will be taking this further with external companies. To summarise my experience: the coach was 36 minutes late. When I rang to find out where it was, I was told he had to send his driver on a late night pick up and that driver needed 9 hours rest between trips. When I explained that that was not my problem and if he couldn't accommodate the time we'd asked for then we should of told us, he told me I was rude and put the phone down on me. The coach driver then rang me to say he'd arrived, to which we found out he was at the wrong address. This was no fault of the drivers but the lack of communication from ASA. In addition, the vehicle we booked had air con labelled as a feature, which was important to us as we were travelling with a heavily pregnant woman on a hot day. The air con was not working when we boarded. I informed the manager by text, who told me that I had no booked a mini bus with air con, which I did. He then texted and said that if I was unhappy he'd tell his driver to leave us (we were at the horse racing) and we could find other means to get back. The following day I asked for information surrounding the complaints procedure, the managers response was to accuse us of drinking alcohol and making a mess on the bus, which was categorically untrue. He then implied that I had no right to raise my concerns with him. I originally booked this through a coach comparison company and sent the complaint through them. Unfortunately, they do not accept complaints unless the coach was a no show. However, they were extremely supportive of my upset surrounding the unprofessional behaviours I'd experienced through ASA, and due to the nature of my complaint, which included all text messaging evidence from the manager, they were kind enough to try and be the 'middle man' and encouraged ASA to respond to the complaint. ASA refused to acknowledge or respond. I hope this coach comparison site reviews their decision to continue working with this company. One positive was that the driver was fantastic and was supportive, accommodating and kind when I'd explained the difficulties we were experiencing with the manager. It became apparent that the driver was not an employee of ASA but an out sourced driver, who we will use again, but ASA is a company we will forever avoid and highly suggest to others to do the same. As per other complaints/poor reviews I have seen since, I assume the manager will respond to this review calling me a liar. This will only strengthen my already horrendous experience with this company."

"Minibus turned up and was dirty, wasn't anywhere to put carry on cases although we informed them that there would be 10 cases. Luckily there was 3 spare seats to put them on. No charger points as advised. Seatbelts didn't all work and those that did would not retract and you kept getting pinned back, don't know how it passed MOT/safety test. Funny sound from underneath and minibus, was swaying all over the motorway lanes. Driver was erratic! He undertook in between a lorry and an artic so close we thought we were going to get squashed in between them & the artic had to swerve, we all shouted at that point to stop undertaking. He also kept messing with his phone. He seemed in a hurry on our return and even asked if we wanted to leave early, which we didn't. Worst journey to London from West Midlands and grateful to be alive."

Operator replied on 8th February 2024, 12:13pm:
"We take a feedback seriously and have thoroughly investigated the matter with our driver. He has adamantly denied the allegations made against him and assured us that the bus was in impeccable condition, both inside and out. Our team diligently ensures that each vehicle is meticulously inspected before departing from our depot, including checking the cleanliness and functionality of all amenities. In order for us to further address your concerns, we kindly request any evidence you may have, such as photos or videos, to support your claims. Additionally, regarding the seat belts, we can confirm that they are new and regularly inspected as this is required by law to ensure they are in proper working condition. While seat belts may occasionally become twisted due to passenger use, they can be easily rectified. Furthermore, our driver informs us that he did offer the option for passengers to contact him should they wish to depart early and did not force you to leave early. Our buses are equipped with sufficient storage space, including a boot and space behind the seats so this shouldn't have been an issue for a one day stay. Regarding the driving style, our driver has been a valued member of our team for the past three years and has consistently received positive feedback. While we understand your concerns, without evidence to support your claims, we cannot substantiate the allegations against him. Please know that we are committed to providing a safe and comfortable journey for all our passengers, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. Should you have any further concerns or evidence to share, please do not hesitate to contact us."

"Terrible, unfortunately. Our driver was exactly one hour late because he didn't know how to navigate London properly. Because of that added time trying to navigate, he went over 4.5 hour limit. This made us lose our next appointment (costly to replace tickets)."
